Octaves: 5 (6) octaves handbells; 3 (4) octaves handchimes; Optional flute, optional handclaps
Arranger: Linda Boatright
Description: This handbell arrangement of Ian Andersonís original composition is true to the original work. Written for his group, Jethro Tull, in 1977, Anderson wrote it with the intent of simply having a song that would sound unique, get radio play and hopefully, make it on the singles charts! It worked! Irregular meter, nicely placed stopped techniques and LV work together to create an exciting concert work. True to the spirit of solstice celebrations, this supplies the ringing bells so all you need are the dancing druids!
